Run COMPED on a Raspberry Pi display

A cheap screen on your table that customers can use to check prices in pounds.

What you need

  • A Raspberry Pi 3, 4 or 5, or any spare tablet
  • A touchscreen or a monitor and keyboard
  • Wi-Fi or a phone hotspot

Set it up

  1. Open Chromium in kiosk mode at https://comped.co.uk/?compact=1.
  2. Open the menu and turn on Demo unit. The screen stays on and goes back to search after 2 minutes idle.
  3. Customers type a card and see the price straight away.
