COMPED exists because UK collectors and vendors were pricing cards off US asking prices converted at a guess. We price off what actually sold, here.
What we do
COMPED turns completed sales into a defensible number. We read sold listings first, cross-reference them against what is currently live, strip outliers, and show the sale count behind every figure. When evidence is thin we say so with a range instead of inventing a price.
Where we are different
- UK-first, GBP native. Completed UK sales lead; we widen globally only when UK evidence is sparse, and label it when we do.
- Printing-level precision. 1st Edition, Shadowless, 4th print (1999–2000) and Unlimited are separated, along with reverse holos and jumbo/oversize cards.
- Four regions. English, Japanese, Korean and Simplified Chinese, each priced from its own sold data.
- Graded comps, not multipliers. PSA, CGC, ACE, TAG and SGC prices come from real slab sales.
- Human in the loop. The community Price Trainer feeds verified, evidence-backed corrections back into the engine.
- Vendor grade. Buy-in studio, inventory, auto-pricing, label printing and P&L for people who do this for a living.
